If you are looking for Delhi street food - you can’t be wrong with Delhi street. Perfect seating for a perfect evening. We ordered thali, butter chicken and chana bhatura. The service could be bit slow at times but that is the thing, to enjoy the perfect food it is worth to wait and you must be ok with that. Staff was very professional and were totally aware as what they are doing. I would prefer to try biryani, rolls and mango lassi. Guess shall be coming again and again. We went from the northern suburbs of Melbourne and enjoyed the train ride that was complimented by the perfect food. Excellent flavours and that’s for the excellent food.
Visited for dinner on a Saturday night and tried pav bhaji, katori chaat and gajar ka halwa. Quantities were a bit less according to Melbourne standard, but absolutely no compromise with quality. All the dishes were top notch and super delicious. Have visited earlier for lunch and had one of the set thalis available. That was pretty good too.
Let me start by saying the customer service here is outstanding. The girl who served me was friendly, polite, and very customer focused. The place is always clean and tidy. Now, to the food. Today, I enjoyed the 'Special Thali'. It comes with your choice of 3 curries, rice, naan, pappadum, pickles, and some salad. I chose Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, and Goat Curry. All were absolutely beautiful, the Goat Curry was tender and delicious. The Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani were gorgeous. I also enjoyed a cup of Masala Chai. This place is popular and for good reason. The service is outstanding and the food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend you try Delhi Streets. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Dropped into Delhi Streets and immediately felt like I’d made a sensible life choice.
Let’s begin with the ambience. The restaurant is clean and well maintained albeit a bit cramped. The walls are decorated with retro style movie posters and the chairs got the common Indian brand name logos ranging from Maruthi cars to Hawkins pressure cooker. They have medium sized tables and also provide bar style seating.
Absolutely amazing! The food is well priced, the flavours are amazing, and the servers are so kind.
For a rushed pre concert meal, this is the way to go!
I had a pleasure dining at this place and it was nothing short of wonderful. I ordered a thali which has Dal makhani and malai kofta with Naan and rice. Dal Makhani was rich, creamy and perfectly balanced flavourful. Malai kofta was an excellent balance of flavours and textures. Overall had a great experience and enjoyed the superb dish that warmed my soul and satisfying my taste buds 👍🏻
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Delhi Streets Indian in Melbourne, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service that instantly made me feel comfortable. The staff were attentive without being over the top, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a good time.
